Lectures on beam/RF interaction in synchrotrons
Lectures were given in January 1993 at Florida State University
(Talahassee) for the US Particle Accelerator School.

Note on formats: - HTML: The HTML files were converted from
LaTeX using Hutchinson's TTH code. The math
symbols in the HTML are rendered in symbol fonts and your browser is
perhaps not configured to interpret these correctly. If you want to use
the HTML version nevertheless (perhaps because you are as fed up as I am
with the buggy software from Adobe), look here. In particular, for
Firefox under MSWindows, look here.
- XML: This format will eventually become the standard for math
markup. Currently (Jan. 2007), I find that Internet Explorer (6.0) and
Opera (8.5) do not work at all, Firefox-Mozilla-Galeon are buggy under
either Windows or Linux. But Amaya works very well; it's the only
browser that adheres to all W3C standards, and I encourage everyone to
use it. The XML files were created using Hutchinson's TTM. I tried tex4moz, but
it gave very poor results.
Update Feb. 2009: Firefox 3 appears to render the XML files very
nicely. I tested both Windows and Linux versions. Yay!
- PDF: You'll need Acrobat
Reader. Files were generated using PDFLaTeX.
